Caracol, announcement!
Hello everyone!
I’m excited to announce my first game project, Caracol: France vs Spain! The game is currently in development, and I’m glad to share its progress with you.
Caracol is a turn-based strategy game inspired by games like the Levy and Campaign series, Risk, Total War, and AGEOD’s Napoleon Wars. Set during the turbulent "Iron Century," players will lead a nation through one of the most fascinating periods of European history.
In Caracol, you'll:
- Recruit massive armies to defend your provinces or conquer new territories.
- Engage in diplomacy, forging alliances or undermining your rivals.
- Plan and execute detailed, realistic battle tactics, adapting to historical military strategies of the era.
This project is being developed using Pygame, and as my very first game, it’s a true labor of love. I’d love to hear your feedback and suggestions to help shape Caracol into an engaging and immersive experience.
Since the game is still in development, there’s a lot of room to grow and refine its mechanics. Your insights will be incredibly valuable—whether it's thoughts on gameplay, balance, or new ideas to explore.
I’ll be happy to hear from anyone who wishes to contribute their suggestions to this exciting project!
